Twelve students of Class XII A, B and C along with two teachers, Ms. Suman and Mr. N.P. Dangwal, visited New Criminal Laws Exhibition at Bharat Mandapam on 9th July 2025. The exhibition marked the first anniversary of the implementation of the new criminal laws – the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, showcasing Technological Integration in Criminal Justice System. It provided a widespread awareness about the key features of the new legal framework and seamless technological and institutional synergy among the pillars of the criminal justice system – Police, Hospitals, Forensic Departments, Prosecution and Courts. It was an immersive experience through a combination of audio-visuals, animations and live play-acting, which was the highlight of the day, demonstrating how a case is solved using the provisions of new criminal laws. The students also participated in various quizzes, games and drawings related to the theme of the exhibition. It helped the students to gain an understanding of how criminal cases are investigated and resolved.
